Day 19. Thursday, May 3rd 2007. 12 days till court

Hello. Today we went to the grocery store. LOL. But, that's really about all we did. A very slow day. Our facilitator said she was going to be in town and would pick us up at 11:00am and take us to the grocery store. At 1:00pm I asked bob to call her and find out if she forgot us. She said no, but that she was busy and would call back soon. She called back about 3:00pm and said it would be a couple of hours yet. She didn't get here till 5:45pm. We have to laugh at that. But she was truly having a very busy day that wound up with complications she had to deal with.
So basically Natasha and I did some more English. Then she wanted on the computer to play her English game. She must have played for at least 3 hours.

Bob did his Sudoku gamed and I cross stitched. Later in the afternoon we decided to go for a walk. Oh my goodness, you would have thought we asked Natasha to do something terrible. She said "No." We said "Yes." She continued to protest as Bob and I got our shoes and coats on. We finally had to make her put her shoes and coat on. She protested the entire walk. It was kinda comical. She walked with her arms crossed and about 20 feet behind us the entire time. We had to keep looking back to make sure she was still following us. Here is a picture we took as we just about lapped her walking around where are apartment is.
It isn't the best picture.I couldn't put the zoomed in version on here. So, if you can somehow zoom in on it. Her face is priceless. She was not a happy camper. They keep telling me she is 10 years old, but she sure does act like a 12 year old sometimes. LOL.

Here is a picture of Natasha sleeping. It's a good thing nobody has to sleep in the same bed as her. That is her foot sticking off her bed all the way onto Bob's bed. And Bob thought I flopped like a fish. This one has me beat.

Uncle Bob. Are you insinuating that we are fat ?? That we would eat all the tortilla mix & Shauna would have no more to sell ?? How dare you, Mr. Ice cream cake man. LOL. I think I'm loosing my mind here, because I can't remember what spice your talking about, unless it was Chili Powder. And, I can't even remember talking to you about it. It must me the "OBL" water huh. Whhhaaaaa. I know you will get that one !!! ( Were getting pretty good at this)

Dad Ray. We did not eat "Chihuahua" Meat. We had Chicken. (At least we thought we bought chicken. ) LOL. Ha Ha , you think your sooo funny. Those Mexicans had me pegged from the get go. Next time I will have to go in disguise. LOL. Shauna found out about a class here for a month in the summer. It's a "Summer Intensive English program." She is going to help teach English to the people here in Ukraine that have signed up for it. LOL. And, she can't even spell her own name !!! LOL. She seems very excited about it. It's the end of June till the end of July.

Hello Grandma Virginia. Dad Ray told me you were reading, but couldn't comment because of the speed of your computer. I was thinking that if you didn't live out in the middle of nowhere, you might have a better chance. LOL. Glad you are reading and enjoying. We are enjoying this blog too. It helps.

Well goodnight all.

Talk at you tomorrow,

God Bless,

Gail

Gail, Bob and Natasha,

I know staying all this time is really hard being away from the rest of your family, but think of the great one on one (really two on one) bonding time you are getting with Natasha!

Having Alyona all that extra time and then getting to stay in Donetsk for a week was great! I just wish she didn't have to have a seizure to make it happen. The picture you sent of her was great. I can't believe how healthy she looks! I wish Elena was there too, but she goes to the camp every chance she gets.

We're all counting down the days to your court date with you. Hopefully now that Kelly is feeling better, everyone else will stay healthy until you get home. Our prayers are with you.

Jan & Mike

I Love those Ice cream cakes!!! I think it was the Chilli powder and it was in the blog somewhere. Sounds like Natasha will fit right in. Ha HA!! Have a good Friday!
