Just a short entry to let everyone know what is going on. Our facilitator just called as she was leaving the court house. She is now on her way here to take us to get Natasha. She did meet with the judge this morning. The judge is tied up with a long criminal court case right now and refused to schedule anything until after this case is over. Our facilitator did everything she could to get our court date scheduled immediately. The judge did schedule our court date. It is for Tuesday May 15. We can't believe it. Although we are glad to have our date scheduled, this seems like forever (especially to Gail). The judge stated that with the holidays in the next two weeks (3 days next week, and 2 days the week after), that this was the soonest he could give us. Our facilitator is very much on our side and takes it as personal as us. The only good news is that it sounds like she was able to convince the judge to waive the 10 day waiting period, since the court date is scheduled 17 days from now. We will have to write more later, it is time to get Natasha for the holidays. We are feeling both elated to have a date when Natasha will finally become our daughter, but so disappointed that it will keep us from the rest of our daughters for so long.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR COURT DATE! Sorry you have to wait till the 15th though. Crossing our fingers that the judge will waive the 10 days for you!! Keeping you and ALL the girls in our prayers.

So glad to hear the court date is set!!!! Will definately pray that the 10 days is waived afterwards. does this mean you get to keep Natasha with you till the court date or just through the holiday?

Bob & Gail, I am glad that you got your courtdate! Praise God but I am sorry that it is further down the road. Just keep your eyes on Jesus because He is control of all of this!!!
